Production Supervisor

Are you a self-motivated Production supervisor that prioritized building a great team?

Job Summary: As our Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily production to ensure team members are able to meet goals and perform their role effectively. You will provide feedback and direction as well as assist with needs as they are identified.

Hours will be from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure all policies and rules are enforced.

Educate and direct personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.

Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Drive workflow by being directly involved with improving operation efficiencies, reducing costs, identifying opportunities, and assisting in timely corrective actions.

Complete the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel.

Provide manufacturing information through production performance records and data

Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements resulting in the implementation of changes

Resolve personnel problems as necessary in conjunction with the Human Resources department

Keep a positive and energetic attitude when representing the company to employees, customers, and visitors

Manage emergency situations including weather, fire, evacuations, and industrial accidents

Ability to climb, walk, do light lifting, sit for long periods, or stand for long periods

Perform all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in a production supervisor or similar role for at least 3-5 years

Experience in manufacturing environment preferred

Make independent judgment calls relating to areas of responsibility

Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Must be proficient in reading and writing in English

Able to facilitate small group interactions

Able to hold people accountable

Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills. Can set and adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimum direct supervision while effectively handling several projects at one time

Use proactive measures to increase customer satisfaction and company profitability

Education –

A high school diploma or equivalent schooling preferred
